Director and Pension Transfer Specialist

Patricia is one of the two Directors at HFL and brings a wealth of knowledge with her as her background is in banking.

She has been with IFA for 14 years and in this time has helped clients achieve the goals they wanted to reach. She is a great leader and one our clients are happy to follow as she always lays out the best path forward for any give project.


Director and Pension Transfer Specialist

Brenda is also a Director at HFL and has been an IFA for 13 years and has run a partnership office with Patricia for over 6 years.

Brenda has worked in the industry for her whole career; we won’t mention how long that is..


Senior Partner

Richard has worked in financial services for more years than he wishes to profess.

He is a specialist in Later Life Choices and he is extremely passionate about his role.

Richard is a champion pool player, although he still classes that as ‘sport’.


Client Relationship Manager

Craig’s career had been in banking for many years and was a Regional Manager. He has extensive experience in a client driven environment and is passionate about delivering a first class experience to our clients.

Craig is very calm under pressure and deals with a multitude of tasks whilst ensuring running the office runs smoothly.

A Barbershop singer with a local chorus Craig is prone to impromptu sessions in the office – whether we like it or not!


Client Relationship Manager

Helen’s previous career was in lending and underwriting so she has a high level of knowledge and experience in mortgages.

She is incredibly organised and loves seeing things through from start to finish.

Outside of work Helen enjoys spending time with family and friends often trying out new recipes on these willing victims with varying degrees of success, although no poisonings just yet!


Senior Technical Support and Pension Transfer Sepcialist

Jane has a wealth of experience supporting Independent Financial Advisers.

She was one herself before she embraced the opportunity to pass on that knowledge.

Jane is very self motivated and is diligent in her processes and loves the more challenging detailed side of the role, and she is most patient with all of us.

Jane loves shoes and handbags and jewellery, and not forgetting her three children.


Sue is our Business Quality and Training Manager and checks everything we do. She insists we uphold our very high standards – so we make sure we do!

Sue enjoys cooking and a good wine, which is often handy after dealing with complex cases that land on her desk.


Technical Support Manager

Nicki has worked in the financial services sector on and off for more years than she likes to remember and enjoys the challenge of getting to the bottom of complex cases.

When she’s not at work you can find her trotting around the local countryside on her horse or spending time in France with her husband and their dog, Sam.

HFL are based in Melbourn which is a large village in the far south west of Cambridgeshire. The name Melbourn comes from Meldeburn, the “stream of a man named Melde”.

Our offices are situated at the end of a small business park in Saxon Road, surrounded by the beautiful green countryside of Hertfordshire.

With over 50 year’s industry experience from the two Directors Brenda and Patricia and our key partnerships with Bracey’s Accountants, we can offer a consistent and highly competitive service to all our clients from a spectrum of industries.
